Ok what i am thinking of doing is starting a subdomain redirection company, similar to that of co.nr and many other companies
thus i need for my hosting:
-server side processing of forms
completed by customers automated
(they can change the info on their
redirection with-out contacting me)
-Perl/cgi
-PHP
-unlimited subdomains
-wildcarded DNS
-enough space to allow for many subdomains
-unlimited email aliasing and forwarding
-want email auto responders
-multiple ad-on domains allowed
-very reliable
-prefer cpanel but anything that works well is good
-ftp account (at LEAST one)
-free trial period or money-back guarantee
-POP email accounts (more=better)
-allow links/info about adult sites
(in case an adult site wants redirection)
-databases etc... needed
-password-protected directories
-good customer support
(must be kind, knolageable, and curtious)
-enough bandwith for MANY redirections per day
(the person would be there for a milisecond -
but alot of those miliseconds, and i would
of course have a website with it that takes hits)
-if posible fairly cheep (less than or about $15 a month)
----big incentave if its cheeper to register for a year
-prefer no setup fee
(from what i understand there usally isn't much to setup)
-host MUST be in USA
