Two companies - glowhost.com and apthost.com - specilizes in providing FFMpeg modules on their servers.
Which one is more preferable?
Any ideas?

Well as I see glowhost.com provides media hosting for their customers - ffmpeg, soutcast, podcast support and apthost.com supports only ffmpeg module on their servers. That's not bad at all too.
Both companies have many positive feedbacks of their activity on the forums and their services are not expensive that allow to use them by the web masters with a tight budget.

Go the third way. Take a look at santrex.net - this company offers really wide selection of hosting types, including streaming accounts, and they have probably lowest prices for that kind of service. This company would hardly disappoint anyone..

I wonder if the OP is able to try both companies services?
I say like that as apthost.com as well as glowhost.com have servers that are customized for running media streaming.
And their price range isn't high.

With it being a dedicated server, you have the ability to do as you wish. Do you require assistance with installing/maintaining this? If not, choose a provider that's affordable and you feel confident doing business with.

If to choose from those hosts, apthost.com looks more appealing IMO. Very informative and affordable provider. I suppose their dedicated servers would better to get.

the apthost.com has really signifiacnt price advantage before glow host , moreover they are currently providing a discount for their services, you may see it right on their site, and they have preinstalled ffmpeg modules, saving you much time and money. So obviously I recommend apthost.
