Can anyone give me some feedback or opinion on Zen Cart or any other open source shopping cart for shared hosting platform.

Well, my personal experience proves that one of the best e-commerce software is OsCommerce. I have been dealing with espinda.com for 5 months and I can say that I have never had any serious problem while dealing with this company. It offers special e-commerce plans at very cheap price.

Zen cart is a modified version of OSCommerce. It is feature rich and popular, but an overkill for most purpose.

You know, Zen Cart truly is the art of e-commerce; a free, user-friendly, open source shopping cart system. I think that you will make reasonable decision to have a look at sibername.com web hosting plans as they include many shopping cart software to choose from.
Think that zen cart will be good option for you.
