Never commit for an yearly payment for a dedi. You cna out grow the server, host may disappoint you, hosting can get cheaper, you might find a better offer.. so on...

It happened so that sibername.com offers nice dedicated server solution and provides pretty good web hosting services. It offers monthly, quarterly and yearly payment, so you can pay for any period you want.
It will be good to contact their support to get all the things cleared with them.

If go for reliable companies like godaddy liquidweb then no problem for paying one year .. can get some discount also.. But for unknown company better pay monthly and once Ok then go for yearly payment
