jeff | 000webhost is probably the leader, naturally so - they offer $5 to affiliates per sale! That is too much - customers pay the host ZERO, they use all resources and still the company pays the affiliates! There is something fishy in this business model and I expect some not so good news in the near future.
Also note that the link in quoted message contains affiliate link as well! I am not sure if that is against the rules here.
Personally I wont recommend free PHP host to anybody, if you care about your site - pay a small fee for hosting. | |

Also you need to think about their servers, are they stable and support which is most important. | |
