Hello!
Are there any companies which have been running unmanaged solutions?
It seems that the leaders in dedicated server providing for now offer only managed solutions: Rackspace.com, Serverpoint.com, Downtownhost.com etc.
And I think that it is really great what they have been doing for the customers.
But what about unmanaged solutions? Can such companies offer this kind of web hosting?

I suppose there are some companies that offer unmanaged solutions. I know that unmanaged servers are availiable at Ahosting.biz.

I think this kind of hosting is less popular and thus is not so wide spread.

I think that both Serverpoint.com and Rackspace.com offer managed solutions, at least semi-managed vps deals are in serverpoint.com

I know unmanaged dedis are provided by hqhost.net, except of already listed here.

I thought the majority of the hosting providers are offering both kinds of servers. Now I see I was mistaken.

There are tons of unmanaged dedicated hosts, from the biggies 1&1, Godaddy to specialists thePlanet. I would recommend softlayer if you are looking for a reasonably priced reliable server.

HqHost.net provides a lot of unmanaged dedicated solutions and their prices are not very high.
And I wonder if I'm able to hire any admin if I encounter any issues?
