im looking to start an adult website, while researching for reliable competetive adult hosting compaines, i stumbled onto adult-website-hosting.com

i did a whois search and it gave me GODADDY SOFTWARE, INC. as the company name. is this the same GODADDY company that people are refering to often in this forum? are they really reliable?

adult-website-hosting.com is not coming up for me.
Godaddy is great for domain registration, its the cheapest out their and I haven't had a problemw with them. I have not used their hosting services so I cannot comment on them, but I don't think they offer any adult hosting.

Godaddy offers cheap domain names and equally cheap webmail. It's looks like a great place to register your domain and host it...but I haven't tried it

GoDaddy.com offers low prices and reliable hosting. The problem is that their customer support is non-existant and their email is virtually worthless.

Their email is the main reason to avoid them. They are paranoid about spam! This causes them to make unreasonable policies regarding the blocking of email. They block a huge numbers of ip addresses. I get constant complaints from people I do business with that their messages to me are returned saying they are spam. For a while, a friend who uses roadrunner as his isp was blocked because they were blocking several ip addresses assigned to Road Runner. In fact, when I tried to sign up for this FindMyhost forum, I didn't receive any of the confirming emails from FindMyhost.com - I had to use a hotmail account to finally get confirmed.

Use GoDaddy for web hosting, if you must, but NEVER use them for email.

Godaddy is great for domain registration. Their dedicated hosting is also good, even though unmanaged. The rates are one of the cheapest and servers and network are pretty good.

But theor shared hosting has mixed reviews. Many options are restricted, even though you get value for money. I wont recommend them for shared hosting. And yes, they are pretty strict about spamming and other abuses.

We cant say godaddy is the best. its OK average... but not a cheater..can say is the one of the best
