| clarification Just to clear this up - this was determined to be a bug in the billing software we use (manufactured by SW Soft). The problem stemmed from incorrect bandwidth usage calculations by the system, which resulted in higher than expected invoices.
When the customer was originally informed that the problem had been rectified, this was done in good faith - we had been informed by the manufacturer that the problem had been fixed. We openly acknowledge that this was not the case; we had been misinformed by the software company, which caused us, in turn, to unknowingly misinform the customer. For this we apologize, and the customer was compensated accordingly.
This problem was resolved fully, to the satisfaction of the customer, a few days after this post was made, through a patch realeased by the manufacturer.
