Tips on Choosing ASP.net Host?

First of all, do I need Windows only or can i go for Linux as well if my site uses asp?
If window hosting is required, what should be taken into consideration while choosing A windows host?
Need you recommendations of reliable windows hosting providers. Google gives www.m6.net as his first result if I search for "ASP hosting". How are they? Anyone has been with them?

A windows hosting platform would be best suited for running ASP. There is an application through Sun that allows ASP over linux but you won't find too many hosts that support or offer this.

What do you plan on doing with the ASP platform?

Also, are you looking for a shared, VPS or Dedicated hosting solution. Based on this we can provide you with a good selection of Approved hosts to choose from.

You obviously need a windows host for asp.net. Also make sure that you decide on the database, as most probably you would be using MS SQL Server and it may not come standard with many windows shared hosting packages.

You may google for M6.net reviews, they seem to be an Australian-based company? Where is your audience located? Still server location might be an important issue.
www.hostcats.com have their servers in India, this may be a good deal in terms of cost, but check how's their support.
