Hosting with Domain Name Registrars

Has anyone here had any experience of hosting with domain name registrars like Namecheap.com or Godaddy.com?
If services are reliable it might be a definite plus to keep your domains and hosting within one company's administration, especially when there are services like free WhoIs Guard protection and free Positive SSL certificated like those offered in Namecheap.com - Cheap domain name registration, renewal and transfers - Free SSL Certificates - Web Hosting - Free URL Forwarding, e-mail forwarding and DNS services are included with our cheap domain names registration service plans.
What are your ideas of that?

I'd choose NameCheap.com as I have used them before. Quality services with low prices. Plus their system of discounts that let you use them cheaper.

Besides the listed companies I would suggest you to look up sibername.com - this is a stable canadian domain name registrar, that also has attractive hosting plans. Their pricing for domain rgistrartion are really affordable, and if you are going to host your site with them you will get a domain name for free.

Take a look and compare it with the offerings you already have.

If you are going to register domain name and have hosting from the same company i may say the following:
I suppose having hosting from domain registrars is not the same that registering a domain from hosting providers. The first case has less risks, while the second is cheaper.

I know sibername.com provides quality hosting, being ICANN-,CIRA-, and EURID-accredited registrar. I think here is the case when you are nothing to worry about.

Regretably, I cannot say anything about other listed companies, but note: registering a domain with a reseller is copupled with certain risks and problems. Not always surely, but still having place.

I'd advise you not to keep all eggs in one basket. I mean it's better to reg a domain with a domain registrar say EuroDNS.com as the most reliable in this field company and host this domain with the hosting company like ServerPoint.com with resourceful package plans.
That's my opinion.

There are reverse options which could be very cheap - domain registration with ahosting providers. For instance, Webhostgiant.com provides very cheap registration of a dn - 7.5 dollars for .com and others, they also have low prices for hosting so If you decided to register a name and get a hosting from one place - go there. But I woulв rather register and host separately....

I think you may use services (domain name registration and hosting services) from one company, it can be, for instance A2hosting.com. Very reputable company with quality tech staff.

affordable web hosting solutions providers with domain name registrar

Either one will do.

As long as a user that subscribe the domain name on other company, he / she might need to check that the company allow the domain name to be transfer in the future incase the user choose to.

And also the user need to know how to configure the DNS address correctly, then it should not be a problem to host the website with the different domain name registrars.

Cheers!

I have heard that if you buy any hosting plan at Marblehost.com, you will get free domain name for life. It offers attractive shared hosting plans. And it is stable and reliable one.

Another marblehost spammer Yeah.. I dont know if these guys are really good in hosting, but they do excellent spam.

Typically on a thread with a very normal discussion, they would go "I know marble host offer xyz and they are very reliable".. where xyz is a very standard feature like fantastico installer, cpanel, mysql database, free domain name, cron job or whatever. Noobs will, surely fall for it.

Guys, you are exposed. Now come up with a better plan.
