Hello I have a client based in America I am in the UK and always use a UK hosting company,because her customers will be in America I presume it would be best for her site to be on an American server is this way of thinking correct if so can you recommend a good company PHP and MySQL are needed.

This is said often but it depends on location, if your client targets the east coast and has the servers located in west coast, it isn't really helpful

MarbleHost.com has datacenters both in US and UK with the option of free choise without any change in price.

As far as I understand, UK hosting is more expensive than US, and Thus I think MarbleHost might be reasonable solution for you, because you could host your info within Great Britain without extra payment. Take a look, you mya be interested.

Are you going to get a hosting plan just for one client in the USA? Then you would want a shared account I presume?

Sharing my opinion I could say that I think ServerPoint.com is one of the best hosting companies, that are based in America. They are longstanding and reliable, have affordable prices and good support.

They offer many options and features for their clients.

I believe there would be no regret of dealing with them!

I think of A2hosting.com as I have read many nice reviews of this company. Price range is not very high and their support works fast and their average response time is 10 minutes.
