integrahost support lacking

Folks I have been in the hosting business for awhile and I thought it might be a good idea to try something new. I have been with HostGator for a long time and you know I saw this deal for 4x the disk space and 2x the bandwidth for 30% less. Thought I would try it.

I guess they use some sort of phone verification where a machine calls you and gives you a code you have to put it. Well it only gives you 30 seconds. I have SunRocket VOIP phone service and had my phone on "do not disturbe" where all calls instantly go to voicemail. Of course no voicemail has been recieved but I do see a call from California and it happend about 10sec after I placed the order.

I figured I would give their chat a try... here is that exact chat session. I hope they see this because I find it disturbing that I chatted with him for over 30 minutes with no resolution accept to "email sales" "email sales" "dns not ready...blah blah blah"

Kevin McClellan: and this thing with the phone verification. I have never heard of that before and 30 seconds isn't enough time to run down the stairs and grab the phone. I was not expecting that.

Kevin McClellan: Your not even giving me a chance to try your hosing services. Every other host I have ever done business with I would have already be 1/2 done with my site in the 30 minutes that we have been chatting here. This is totally unacceptable.

Avoid Integrahost

I have just experienced a similar problem with the same people. Here's my story...

The Support staff are very friendly but unable to actually help anyone. I chose this company because of their Sales staff via a chat box and their 14 day guarantee. I paid instantly by Paypal. The company did everything it could to set me up with a working hosting account, but placed my overly large account on a small and overcrowded server. They then decided to move my account to a new server (which meant more downtime). When they had completed the transfer they had lost half of my files. (This was a substantial amount of information, over a gig's worth). My fourteen day guarantee passed very quickly as we struggled to correct the constant errors that continued to occur. The database would suddenly no longer work. Support were quick to fix it, but couldn't explain why it had happened and why it continued to happen. I was promised an extension of my guarantee time until the account was fully working. Finally, during my third week, I realised they just couldn't get their act together. I applied for a refund based on their promise of an extended guarantee. They informed me it was approved and would take 2 weeks because I had paid by Visa card. I explained I had paid via Paypal and suggested I do a dispute resolution thru Paypal. No response. I contacted them via this support ticket every day for the two weeks and no reply. Whenever I contacted the Live chat, support told me to speak to Kyle and would not help me. They even closed the chat on me. I began to panic because there is only a 45 day window with Paypal to do a dispute resolution. Alex in support told me via live chat that he would personally speak to Kyle and request he respond to my tickets. So I did not submit the Paypal complaint and gave them good faith. They did not reply, and continued to ignore my tickets. The system automatically closes the tickets after 24 hours, so every 24 hours I would be back there, adding to my ticket. Each time they continued to ignore me. Now another 3 weeks have passed. I cannot request a refund from Paypal and I do not know how to maintain my 'pleasantness' when they will not assist me in any way to receive a refund. I have also attempted email (no reply), they have a 1-800 number on their website but I live overseas and cannot use it. When I requested a phone number I could call, I was told they don't do phone support.

This is my last communication - it gives you a good idea of the type of 'service' Integrahost will give you...

Angry No refund from integrahost yet

Well yall, add me to the list of disappointed integrahost clients. I purchased 1 year in advance hosting, thinking I was getting a deal for what I needed in a server. well, my site was down about 40% of the time. When I contact support, I had to wait forever to get a answer and when I did get a answer, it usually wasn't a good detailed answer. Like the previous fella's I'm always told to check back in about 2 hours or that someone is not in. I'm looking to speak with Kyle Springer because I need to get my refund for the remainder of months that I do not plan to use. I already changed hosting companies to someone that can provide everything I need for my business, but now I'm waiting for a response from kyle to get my refund and cancel my account. You know these guys will not cancel my account!! It's rediculous. I am very disappointed that I went with this company. Kyle told me to contact him on the 14th of july 2006 if I'm not satisfied with my service and thats what I done. Now he will not return any of my messages, I've written admin@integrahost.com, kyle@integrahost.com, and support@integrahost.com as well as calling. My response - Nothing! today is July 21st 2006. My account should have been closed and refunded on July 14th 2006.

well, beware future buyers, of this hosting company.

I too have had problems with my websites never beeing up. I have requested 3 weeks ago to cancel my account and nothing has been done about it. STAY AWAY from this company....

Exclamation Integrahost changed their name

Integrahost has changed their name to U.S. Networkx Beware of this company and either of these 2 names as many of us has been "burned" by them. I can really only speak on my past dealings with this company when it was Integrahost.

remember Integrahost is now U.S. Networkx

be very cautious. read the complaints.
