Unlimited bandwidth accounts

I noticed many hosts, among the ones considered as the reliable ones are offering unlimited bandwidth.

For example cirtexhosting.com (hopefully it is good example considering reliability, experience and trust level) gives some unlimited hosting for higher prices than usual shared accounts... Do they also cheat? Why cannot my traffic allowed to recieve or transfer be unlimited per month?

Thank you.

Unlimited space/bandwidth always comes with hidden conditions like fixed percentage of CPU. So if you host a site with good traffic, obviously they will give you a kick citing the CPU usage. They dont cheat in real sense, but there is a limit to what you can get for a $8/mo hosting account.

You may have an account with unreachably large (almost or completely the same as unlimited) and have your site qualitily hosted at. For instance I advice you considering such companya s webhostingbuzz.com which is the one of themost reliable to suit you.

Had experience with santrex.net unlimited solutions. Worked well for me, maybe because I have not used too much resources with a small site, but I believe it differs from one provider to another.

Among suggested I would rather choose the one which is called santrex.net. This company is offering rather reasonable solutions, and has very much freedom being offshore.

No point in getting unlimited, while it would be more realistic to buy just large shared account such as offered by webhostingbuzz.com. Try looking up. the company is worth of trust.

Thanks.

Learned some more of the unlimited services. Go t to know such companies as santrex.net and webintellects.com may offer it is their accoyunt but at the end you would have reource limits which means you can't load your account endlessly.

Thank you.

Hello,

You need to be carful of 'unlimited' offers as they are dishonest. I have written an article about it below:

Hi,

Just to let you know >>> there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth.
Why is there the need for such high bandwidth? If this is a requirement you might need to look into a vps or dedicated solution if your requirement is very high.

Think much depends on the company you are using unlimited account from, say marblehost is a reputable enough company to have fair deals with.

"Unlimited" does not exists in the Hosting world. The resources like Disk space and Bandwidth are the Backbones of the Hosting service providers and it's not possible to offer unlimited resources on any of the hosting plans. If the Hosting provider says that he offers Unlimited bandwidth, you must check the port speed. He might provide you with very low port speed which will not allow you to use more bandwidth. So you will think that you are getting unlimited bandwidth altough he has restricted you from using more bandwidth due to very low port speed. You can consider a hosting plan which offers limited amount of resources and easily upgrade the hosting plan as your website grows big.
