Start Logic - No support

Hello,

I wanted to let all users know what a terrible company Start Logic is.
They have discounted priced but their service is extremely discounted service
For 3 months we were unable to add a domain name to the dedicated server we leased.
After calls and email and submission of support tickets this is what we got back as an answer:

Thank you for contacting startlogic technical support.

Not sure what kind of control panel your using. If you go to google and putt whatever control panel you are using plus the words adding domains it will give you a sytax on what to do.

This was after 10 emails 8 phone calls and 3months, and there response had nothing to do with the problem. At this point we decided to move the server because if the site went down we would have to wait months and months to get a response.

So since the server did not work and we could not get support from Start Logic we ask for a refund. We got response that it will take three weeks to get an answer.

As far as we are concerned Start Logicis the worst hosting company we have ever used
We run over 1000 web sites and we have never had such a bad experience with a company.

its surpricing. Some of my clients are with start logic. But this type of problems they didnt report . Any how if they do so its too bad and has to carefull with them...

Support tickets taking long time to get reply is worrying. That is indeed poor service by startlogic.

But to be fair with them, they are not supposed to fix your control panel. I understand that it is not a managed server - so it is not at all their headache. If you cant figureout how to add a domain, better do not get an unmanaged server. When you signup for a server, please try to figure out ehat you are supposed to get. Probably you will need a rackspace or atleast a liquidweb. That would ofcourse cost 3-5 times more than what you were paying wiht startlogic.

Do they have phone support? I think that you can call them and clarify all things you need.

What is the domain you host with StartLogic.com?
If you need recvommendations for other hosts with more reliable support, research into inmotionhosting.com, sibername.com and webhostingbuzz.com.
