Hi.
Friend of mine is looking for Windows VPS. I have done little surway for him and at the moment solidhost.com is the one that seems to be the best.
I need
#1 Your opinion on solidhost.com
#2 Other windows VPS recommendations. |

Solidhost appears to be a good option if your wanting your services located in Europe.
If your looking for a US Based Windows VPS provider you might try ZipServers at: http://www.zipservers.com/windows_vps.shtml

Anyway I have heard a lot of good things of Solidhost.com. And they seems to be really decent. | |

Other question is: which linux providers to use. I believe that companies you have mentored do offer it as well, but what about others, like VPSland.com or justgotvps.com?
Is it ok to have VPS from the same company or from different ? (if you need VPS windows and linux). | |

Rep Power: 3 | SolidHost.com offers their Windows VPSs starting from € 49/mo. I can't say that it's very expensive. Virtuozzo Power Panel and Hardware RAID 10 Storage are offered. Think you may give them a try. | |

I heard they are a stable provider, but would like the actual difference between pro-active and ordinary type of support. | |

Rep Power: 0 | Pro-Active support will be when technicians will receive alert directly from their monitoring system and go in and fix the issue without the customer (in most) even knowing there was a problem.
Unless your a customer, its hard to see this service in action so it would be nice to see some examples of their work. | |

From the fact that Solidhost.com manages to get positive reviews in Webhostingtalk.com threads, I guess their service is quite on the level, though a lil bit costly. | |

Rep Power: 2 | Ordered in both places: Solidhost.com and zipservers.com as you guys suggested. In both places I have nice service. I think that keeping them both is very comfortable for me.
