We just launched a new blog on HostDiscussion which utilizes the WordPress platform.

I must admit, I was impressed with how our designer was able to customize the front end design to work with our forum community.

I am also curious to know what your thoughts are on WordPress, are you for it or against? What do you think of our blog design and don't hesitate to share with us your blog if you have one up for personal or business purposes.

We look forward to sharing ideas and reviews and happy blogging.

WordPress is great software that I use for my blog. I use ServerPoint.com for that as they provide it in a quality way.
For blogging Downtownhost.com suits all right as they provide software that helps to run a blog easier.

I particularly like the integration with the ad space. It flows well. One suggestion would be to compress the on-page content by only displaying the first paragraph of content for each post ( with a link to the rest of the post ). This is a native function of WP.

I like wordpress but its often targeted by hackers, which can be a problem if you dont update regularly.

I use wordpress on all of my blogs, it is so easy to use and customize. As someone else stated you have to stay on top of the updates since it is open source the good guys and the bad guys will know the flaws.

I agree. Since Wordpress is very popular and very accommodating, the bad guys often attempt to put bad links to blogs unsuspecting Wordpress account owners. They are so hard to catch and the only solution is to remain vigilant. You must do regular updates to stay clean.
