PPC Advertising vs. SEO

There are two ways to get traffic to any site. You can either get traffic to your website for free, such as SEO or you can use paid advertising; PPC (pay-per-click).

Often, there is a debate and constant warring between which strategy will be the best strategy to implement in exposing your site to the masses.

In actuality, Internet Marketing is a numbers game, and so the more targeted traffic you can get to your website, the more you will convert, and the more money you’ll make.

So which strategy is the best, free or paid?

Search Engine Optimization:

Free marketing strategies; such as SEO, are just as good as paid marketing, if not better. For example, when the majority of people go searching for information online, they go to Google or any other search engine and type in a phrase; such as “How to Cook and Clean”. The results they get back are divided into two parts, and that is Organic and Paid advertising. These differences are usually easy to identify. The organic results are listed on the left hand side and are listed 1-10 through a series of pages, while the paid are listed on the far right hand side.

When doing a search people will often decide which way is best to resolve their dilemma or situation, and most often people tend to use the free results. Thus, this is enough to indicate that if you want to get highly targeted and free traffic to your website it would be a good idea to get into the Organic results. However, many things are involved, including getting backlinks to your site, making sure you have the right keyword density, and optimizing your site. The downside to Search Engine Optimization is that in order to get your website ranked high, it can be very time consuming. This is a reason why many marketers choose to skip SEO and use Pay-Per-Click with Google Adwords, Bing, or Yahoo Overture.

PAY PER CLICK (PPC):

In short, Pay-Per-Click is when you tell Google; or any other company, how much you want to be charged every time your advertisement is clicked. The higher the amount that you set to be charged will often determine how high your website will rank in the search engines. On the other hand, if you set a low amount then your PPC may not give you good results.

The “pros” of PPC marketing is that it takes a small amount of time to get up and running, but the “con” is that you can not just set up a campaign and expect to make tons of money. PPC is a science and should be implemented with strategy, therefore doing the homework is crucial because if you don’t choose the right keywords and/or charges you could end up losing tons of money and FAST. So PPC takes skill, learning, and possibly experience to succeed.

In short, SEO is a great way for beginners to get a site ranked high in organic results. SEO may be frustrating but once you succeed with SEO the benefits are great. This is also true with PPC, but there is much more risk involved since your success is dependent on your money and skill. Overall, it’s necessary to research both SEO and PPC as much as possible before leaning upon either.

Arrow PPC Advertising vs. SEO

Hello Guys,
Ever notice how when you click on a PPC ad the only thing you can do on the page is fill out a lead form? This is because a lot of PPC campaigns send users to a single page with a single offer. SEO lands users on a page within a site, complete with relevant internal links and information. Maybe the user wants to read more information. With PPC they have to click back to Google and then do a search for the product or company they saw on the PPC lander. With SEO they can easily click to any part of the site, explore the product, the company etc…Sure there are good PPC campaigns which also land users on pages with relevant information and internal links. Unfortunately, those campaigns are currently the minority.

SEO will save you tons of money + give you better results in the long run if you know what you are doing. Sometimes PPC doesn't even convert good and you're just wasting money. SEO is more "natural" i suppose.

For more users, SEO is the best way to go unless one has tons of money to spend on PPC.

rep: ppc advertising vs. SEO

Organic SEO:Content is written and updated on a regular basis , all means are free of cost .It is time taking but it remain log-2 time on the web.

Inorganic SEO:PPC is an effective SEO strategy where you get an immediate results for your site. In leading search engines your ad is displayed to the right side of the page where you can get huge amount of traffic. It is a successful strategy used by most of the companies to get listed in search engines. It is a sponsored link where the visibility of your website is huge.

When compared to other marketing strategy PPC is a bit costly but a successful strategy. It shows an immediate response for your site which improves your ROI. To create more demand for your site you need to be creative comparing to your competitors.Until your adword account have sufficient balance, your add will display on the web.

Pay Per Click and ranking high on organic search result both have their own advatages.
Pay per click can be quite effective till the time SEO efforts do not show results.
But I prefer ranking high on search engine to PPC because PPC has low conversion rate.

Search Engine Optimization is more like public relations and marketing Marketing pay per click is more like traditional advertising. SEO include all measures to improve search rankings in any position on the results page or the number of keyword phrases in the ranks of the site and pay per click advertising usually does not help your ranking in search engines.

PPC and SEO are both good to build your site and increase web traffic, but I think there are many SEO bloggers and entrepreneurs rather than using PPC.

Personally I recommend staying away from PPC is you are a small company. SEO takes times but if done properly can lead to good results.

For me they are both good in generating traffic and improving site ranking.PPC is paid and SEO is free but both are good way for site promotion.SEO is a long-term investment and free of cost while PPC will bring you cost of money.PPC provides the initial visibility promoting your site and then SEO supports further.

PPC- PPC refers to pay per click advertising. In this type of advertising we have to pay per visit cost to the publisher. Means when some user visit on our link then we have to pay some fix amount for this.

SEO - SEO refers to search engine optimization it is the process which is use to promote the product and services in search engines.

These two are the very important part of internet marketing

Though both PPC and SEO are important, I think that the majority of energy should be spent on SEO efforts.
