(Web Hosting News) Guildford, United Kingdom – Memset, the award-winning dedicated IT hosting company, has today been shortlisted for the third consecutive year as “Best Web Host’ in the PC Pro Awards. The awards, which take place every year, showcase the best providers of IT equipment as well as the “Best Web Host’ award.
The awards are the industry's most prestigious, as they are voted for by users and not a judging panel. PC Pro compile the shortlist for each award by running one of the biggest IT surveys in the UK where customers are asked to vote for their favourite provider in each category.
“To be shortlisted as Best Web Host for the third year running is fantastic news, especially as our nomination is down to our customers”, said Kate Craig-Wood, MD of Memset.
“Our focus has always been on providing service and support that is so good that our customers would want to recommend us to others, and being nominated means we must be achieving our goal, ” continued Craig-Wood.
The PC Pro award ceremony takes place at Syon House, Middlesex on 17 September 2008.
Memset has also been shortlisted in the Environmental Innovator category, the IT host is hoping to be recognised for their efforts in introducing utility computing and dynamic dedicated clusters, enabling them to reduce power and hardware requirements in the data centre and bring about change within the industry as a whole.
