Webair and ColocationGuard Partner for Increased Access to Managed Services

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – ColocationGuard, one of New York’s leading colocation providers and operator of Brooklyn’s only data center, today announced that it is partnering with Webair, a high-touch, agile Cloud and fully managed infrastructure service provider, to give its customers access to Webair’s robust suite of Managed Services.

As a part of this partnership, Webair has launched a new Point of Presence (PoP) in ColocationGuard’s Brooklyn data center, CGNY1. Customers at this site are now able to access Webair’s ecosystem of fully managed services via low latency, dedicated cross-connects without traversing the internet. These include:

  • Enterprise Public and Private Clouds
  • Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS)
  • Enhanced IP Transit with Built-In DDoS Monitoring & Mitigation
  • Cloud Storage
  • Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS)

A critical component of Webair’s offerings, DRaaS allows customers to instantly recover from Ransomware attacks or other disasters with RPOs and RTOs in seconds/minutes. Customers can also replicate data to Webair’s Tier III, SSAE 16 and HIPAA-compliant data centers in New York (NY1), Los Angeles (LAX), Amsterdam (AMS) or Montreal (MTL).

“ColocationGuard is excited to strengthen our longstanding relationship with Webair,” said Ray Sidler, President, ColocationGuard. “With this new PoP, our customers will have even more options when looking to satisfy their public/private cloud and other managed service needs.”

“ColocationGuard has been a valued customer of Webair’s for more than ten years. Today, we are excited to further the partnership with the addition of a new PoP,” said Michael Orza, CEO, Webair. “Customers of ColocationGuard will now be able to directly tie into all of our fully managed Cloud and complementary managed service offerings.”
