Support yes, but hours? Maybe support knowledge? Or quickness?

I would like to recommend anybody to study following factors of any company.

1 How old that company is in the hosting business.
                2 No. of existing customers.
3 Support Quality and reaction time.
4 Has it's own redundant data center or not.
5 Hardware quality and Hosting plans
6 Of course "The Prices of services"

Doing your homework like reading reviews , searching active forums is the best option . Still these can get you an outline of how the system works and whether it is what you wanted is a different issue. The best option is to get in the service for a month and check yourself which is the best. Many hosts are providing plans in a monthly basis which you could analyse and check yourself the quality and effectiveness of the host. Cut the available option for your hosting to one or two and you could definitely try this

                        Hi,

There are many host provider and selecting the right web hosting provider can
be a difficult business decision..How to select a web host should be based
                        on a number of factors.

How much space and bandwidth do you require?
                        What is your monthly budget?

Once you finalize the upper part, then next is to chose the correct hosting
provider. First of all search for top ranking hosting providers, short list them.
Then check out there support through live-chat ( here you can experience the
actual service ). And later on decide the one as per your requirement.

                        Best of luck!

You really need to do your homework when looking at host reviews. Try to find sites that are truely independent rather than ones which are affiliates to hosting companies. Forum posts are a good place to start.

What does nationality has to do with choosing a hosting service? You just need to focus on the type of hosting platform you require, Linux or Windows base? Other considerations include bandwidth, storage space and customer service, oh don't forget uptime too!
